Having first starting to play music at 10 years old, George Calopedos has excelled in all things musical. He achieved full marks in the musical aptitude test, "Bentley test" at age 13, and decided that he wanted to pursue his love for Greek music, starting with guitar, and progressing to bouzouki at age 14, his passion drove him to grasp the instruments intricacies at an early age.

He performed a musicology on this history of the bouzouki for his HSC, and also did a modern rendition of Manolis Hiotis, for the performances, which helped to gain him commendation from well known music tutors in Sydney and Greece.

George then continued to do an Island hopping tour around the Dodecanese in Greece, playing at various restaurants in 2012, kick starting his professional career.

George has performed at over 300 events, and 200 of them weddings, from Melbourne, to Sydney, Brisbane and Darwin.
